Is it really free?
Yes. Building and viewing a preview is free and needs no sign-up. If you save it, we keep it for 14 days. To keep it, choose a Hostking hosting plan. On Starter and higher plans, a designer checks your website and helps you finish it at no extra cost. On the Launch plan you get the same website and can change it yourself in the WordPress admin.
How many previews can I make?
A few every 24 hours. To make each one count, read the example at the top of the form and change one or two lines at a time rather than starting over. Hosting customers can build more from their client area.
How do I get a good-looking website?
Say who your customers are, where you work and what you sell, with prices if you want them shown, and ask for anything special you want on the site. Websites with your own logo and photos look best: on Starter and higher plans our designer adds them for you, and on any plan you can add them yourself in WordPress.
Can I have more than one page, or an online shop?
Yes. Websites are one page unless you ask for more. Write it in "What does your business do?", for example "a separate page for our menu" or "an online shop for our candles". You can have up to 5 pages. The online shop is ready for your products; you switch on card payments when you are ready.
Will you make up things about my business?
No. Prices, opening hours, years in business and similar facts are only shown if you write them. Anything missing is left out, so you can add it later.
Can I change the website later?
Yes. It is a normal WordPress website, so you can change the text and pictures yourself in the WordPress admin at any time. On Starter and higher plans, our designer helps you finish it. On the Launch plan, you make changes yourself, or our designers can help for a fee.
Can I use my own domain name?
Yes. Use a domain you already have, or register a new one with us.
Which languages can it write in?
It writes the website in the language you use in the form. Right-to-left languages such as Arabic are not supported yet; those websites are written in English for now.
What do you do with my information?
We only use it to build your website and to contact you about it. See our privacy policy.
